Driver Sales Representative for Portland, Maine Area
New England Coffee is seeking a Driver Sales Representative to cover the Portland, Maine area. The Driver Sales Representative will act as a liaison between New England Coffee and its customer base.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Seeking and acquiring profitable customer base
- Maintaining current customers through strategic and creative sales of coffee, tea and related allied products.
- Delivering products
- Collecting COD’s
Job Requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Credit for college training leading to a major or concentration in business
- At least three years sales experience, preferably in the food industry
- Valid class D driver’s license and impeccable driving record
- Excellent communication skills
- Completion of company wide orientation program
- Skilled operation of a company-provided hand-held computer
- Willingness to make emergency deliveries and equipment repairs off-hours, on weekends or on holidays
- Reliable team player
