New England Coffee Sponsors March of Dimes Ride to Save Babies
September 2007
On September 23rd New England Coffee Company set up a table to distribute coffee to about 700 riders and volunteers at the March of Dimes’ 8th Annual New Hampshire Chapter Ride to Save Babies. The event drew local motorcyclists, motorcycle clubs, dealerships and vendors together in an effort to raise money to help prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
Volunteers from New England Coffee Company included Stephanie Chin, Betsy Kaloyanides and KatieLynn O’Rourke from the Marketing Department and Sales Manager Greg Crocker. They helped hand out coffee that was generously brewed by the Puritan Backroom Restaurant in Manchester, NH. Riders enjoyed the perk before they took off on a 50-mile escorted parade to help raise money and awareness for the March of Dimes. Among the riders from New England Coffee were John Kaloyanides, owner and Vice President of Operations and Human Resources; Scott Simpson, Controller; and Jason Kaloyanides, Technology Support Coordinator. The day ended with a Thank You Barbecue and concert at Meadowbrook Musical Arts Center in Gilford, New Hampshire.
