New England Coffee raises funds for charity

New England Coffee’s 16th Annual Golf Classic at Andover Country Club was held on May 12th, 2008.

With gusty winds and a chill in the air, the golf course provided a challenging day for the players. However, the high spirits and generosity of everyone involved provided for a successful fundraiser. Through the support from all the players, sponsors and hosts, New England Coffee was able to raise $40,000. Rosie's Place of Boston and VNA Hospice Care will share in the total charitable funds raised.

The proceeds raised through this tournament will enable Rosie’s Place to provide care, shelter and job training for women in need, and will allow VNA Hospice Care to continue to offer care and support to those with terminal illnesses. The day’s income will continue to assist these charities in their ongoing care.

New England Coffee thanks all the members of our community who made the day at Andover Country Club such an unforgettable event. Next year’s tournament will be held on Monday, May 11th, 2009.
