New England Coffee raises proceeds for local charities

New England Coffee's 18th Annual Golf Classic was held on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the Andover Country Club in Andover, MA.
With gusty winds and a minor rain storm, the golf course provided a challenging day for the players whose day of golf was shortened due to the weather. However, the high spirits and generosity of everyone involved provided for a successful fundraiser. Through the support from all the players, sponsors and hosts, New England Coffee was able to raise proceeds for Rosie's Place of Boston and VNA Hospice Care.
The proceeds raised through this tournament will enable Rosie's Place to provide care, shelter and job training for women in need, and will allow VNA Hospice Care to continue to offer care and support to those with terminal illnesses. The day's income will continue to assist these charities in their ongoing care.
New England Coffee thanks all the members of our community who made the day at Andover Country Club such an unforgettable event. Next year's tournament will be held on Monday, May 9, 2011.
