New England Coffee partners with Deep Rock Water

November 2010

New England Coffee announces their new partnership with Deep Rock Water Company. This partnership will provide Deep Rock Water’s home and delivery customers throughout Colorado with a variety of premium New England Coffee selections.

The move provides New England Coffee with its first venture into the Rocky Mountain Region, while providing Deep Rock Water with another line of specialty coffees to enhance their customer offering.

“We visited a number of roasters all over the country and New England won in all of the tastings. Their price point is very competitive, their quality is high and their packaging excellent,” commented Tom Schwein, President and CEO of Deep Rock Water Company. “They are a big company, able to support our needs.”

Jim Kaloyanides, President and Chief Operating Officer of New England Coffee, said the partnership with Deep Rock Water is strategic. “It’s really our first foray into the West. We are trying to make our brand a national brand and this is really the beginning. Deep Rock has a tradition out there and we like to work with companies that offer quality products and good service; that has been the key to our success.”

Both executives state that it is the two companies’ cultures that are similar by focusing on community service and local presence, while each has a rich historical inheritance. New England Coffee based out of Malden, MA is in its third generation of family ownership and still delivers the same great taste that their customers have grown to love for over 90 years. Deep Rock Water, based out of Denver, CO, has been providing customers pure, healthful water for 114 years.
