As a Roaster Operator, your primary responsibility is to execute the roasting schedule of green beans into cooked beans. This is a critical process that will require your undivided attention to ensure every batch is roasted with precision and accuracy. While reporting directly to the shift supervisor, you will interface with other functions such as quality assurance, manufacturing engineer, and quality control. This position requires effective teamwork, clear communication, initiative, intelligent judgment, achieving and maintaining roasting efficiency, and most importantly an unwavering dedication to safety and the quality of the roasted coffee beans.
New England Coffee is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to act as a liaison between the Company and its customer base. Representatives have the ability to make decisions with moderate supervision, and are responsible for troubleshooting customer problems, taking customer orders, and effectively responding to customer comments, questions, and complaints with positive results. Our Customer Service Department works together as a team to support each other, our sales staff and, most importantly, our customers.

You will be responsible for seeking, acquiring and maintaining a profitable customer base through the strategic and creative sales of coffee, tea and related allied products. Responsible for maintaining existing accounts in Central/Northern Massachusetts or the North Shore of MA up the coast to NH and also aggressively call upon new accounts. The coffee industry is changing, you will need to be keenly aware of the competitive situation and submit reports on data regarding new products, selling tactics and pricing.
