Mardi Gras King Cake Latte

Ingredients
4 ounces half and half (or milk or your favorite non-dairy creamer)
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon caramel syrup (or sauce)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon cinnamon, divided
4 ounces freshly brewed New England Coffee King Cake
Purple, green and gold (or your favorite colors) decorative sugar, for garnish

Combine the half and half, brown sugar, and caramel syrup in a small saucepan or electric foamer and heat, stirring until frothy and hot. Add the vanilla and cinnamon and stir well.

Pour the hot coffee into a warm mug, top with the half and half mixture and garnish with a sprinkling of decorative sugar.
